The majority of the collection consists of clippings, reprints from important American and European medical and pharmaceutical journals, papers, and reports documenting the development and use of drugs. Also included are drug advertising material (organized by company name); annual reports of pharmaceutical companies; subject files containing sections on such topics as education, advertising, the FDA, and the pharmaceutical industry; and deHaen's papers on pharmaceutical topics (including his annual reports on new products), plus research notes and correspondence.
